Full Job Description

  • Analyse and assess change requests for accuracy, detail, approvals, and proper scheduling.
  • Reject any change requests that do not meet established criteria.
  • Chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensuring quorum and thorough review of high-impact changes.
  • Manage the scheduling of changes to avoid adverse impacts on systems and services.
  • Oversee the preparation of regular releases, ensuring all contents are tested, and resourcing is in place.
  • Lead the implementation of major releases, ensuring adherence to the plan, tracking issues, and conducting post-implementation reviews.
  • Explain decision-making and reporting to senior leadership, demonstrating robust communication skills while serving as a role model and mentor to others.
  • Bring experience from a financial services background or a major regulatory organisation, ensuring a strong understanding of compliance and industry standards.

    We are currently seeking a Change Manager to join our team as a technical subject matter expert in the areas of Change, Incident, Service Transition, Release, and Problem Management. In this role, you'll use your strong technical background and in-depth knowledge of ITIL disciplines (qualified beyond Foundation level) to communicate complex technical information in a clear and credible manner. We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving, collaboration, influencing, and conflict management skills to guide and support IT teams through key operational processes.
