Charity Fundraising Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced charity fundraiser to help us raise vital funds for the Sussex Community NHS Charity which provides grants to enhance patient care and support staff., The Charity has an ambitious new strategy through which it is striving to increase its impact, putting people at the heart of all it does. As Charity Fundraising Officer, you will be at the heart of this, supporting the execution of the strategy and the achievement of income targets across various streams., With excellent communication, organisational and relationship building skills, along with experience of designing and delivering successful fundraising appeals and events, you will work as part of a small and friendly team, representing the charity internally as well as externally with donors and supporters.

You will be creating marketing copy and design for print and digital, including social media and the new charity website, so will need strong attention to detail and accuracy as well as creative flair. You will also need to be pro-active, able to prioritise and willing to work flexibly, including arranging and attending events across the area covered by the Trust which may occasionally take place during evenings and weekends.

Our 6,000 staff serve a population of 1.3 million providing essential medical, nursing, and therapeutic care to adults and children.
