Full Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 nurse to work at our CCC - Wirral site in the Delamere Day Case Unit.
- Previous nursing experience
- Knowledge of various drugs and their interactions and side effects.
- Knowledge of NMC code of conduct, Essential
- 1st level registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Evidence of continued professional development
- In date PIN number with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Desirable Degree or working towards Experience Essential
- Previous nursing experience of a hospital setting
- Previous nursing experience within a medical setting
- Previous nursing experience of a hospital setting Desirable
- Previous Oncology / Haemato-oncology experience
- Cannulation / Phlebotomy.

Alongside our flagship hospital in Liverpool, we also have two other main cancer centres : - Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Wirral, providing outpatient cancer treatment and supportive care on the Clatterbridge Health Campus in Bebington, Wirral
- Clatterbridge Cancer Centre - Aintree, our radiotherapy treatment centre on the Aintree University Hospital site Together, working across three sites and operating specialist chemotherapy clinics in four of Merseyside's district hospitals, we deliver a comprehensive range of inpatient care, advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other systemic anti-cancer therapies including gene therapies and immunotherapies. We also deliver a pioneering Treatment at Home and Work service, are the only facility in the UK providing low-energy proton beam therapy to treat rare eye cancers, and host the region's Teenage and Young Adult Unit., As we deliver treatments in sector hubs and clinicsacross the Wirral and Liverpool, there will an element of cross cover required during training and once training has been completed. This will include travelling to all of our peripheral sites :
