Job summary

We are seeking a new Chief Executive to take forward the leadership of our Trust at this pivotal time. As a Trust in Segment 3 of the NHS Oversight Framework, we are seeking an experienced leader, who is motivated to take on this critical leadership role central to the future success of our Trust and broader systems. As CEO you will not only bring the inspirational leadership credentials that enables us to take the agenda forward with grip and pace, but you will be committed to improving quality of services, tackling inequalities in health outcomes, improving patient access and experience. All these things can only be done through our dedicated and committed people and by making our organisation a great place to work.

Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is a vibrant and dynamic organisation. We provide acute and complex services at our hospital (East Surrey Hospital) in Redhill. In addition, we provide a range of outpatient, diagnostic and less complex planned services at Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey and at Crawley and Horsham Hospitals in West Sussex. We are one of the region's busiest providers of healthcare and are part of two integrated care systems, Surrey Heartlands and Sussex Health and Care.
