• Undertake statutory assessments for children and families, identifying risks and developing support plans.\n
• Provide timely interventions to protect children from harm and improve their well-being.\n
• Work in partnership with families, professionals, and partner agencies to deliver targeted support.\n
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring high-quality social work practice in line with legislation.\n
• Prepare and present reports for court proceedings, case conferences, and multi-agency meetings.\n
• Advocate for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.\n
  
  \nQualifications: Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.\n
• \nExperience: Experience in safeguarding, child protection, or assessment and intervention preferred.\n
• \nSkills: Strong assessment, risk management, and decision-making skills.\n
• \nKnowledge: Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to children's social care.\n
• \nOther Requirements: Ability to travel across Oldham.\n
