Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Children & Young People Support Worker (known internally as a Programme Facilitator-Children & Young People) to support our established and growing digital Children & Young People service WeMatter. This is a home-based role, working 37.5 hours per week, on a fixed term contract until the end of December 2025. Do you want to make a difference every day? Do you want to contribute to change & improvement for those who need it?, As a Children & Young People Programme Facilitator you will:
- Hold an active caseload of children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse within the home
- Be responsible for providing safe, high-quality and consistent support through the online delivery of the CYP Recovery Toolkit
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships and promote effective communication between staff and other stakeholders.
Do you have resilience & adaptability? Can you work effectively with a focus on customer service and care?, Knowledge of domestic abuse & it's impact on children and young people - The ability to engage, build rapport and motivate young people
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound IT expertise with the ability to use a range of software
