Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time cleaner to join our existing dedicated cleaning team. We are looking for someone who:

  • Strives to be the best, having high expectations of themselves and their work

  • Duties will include:
  • Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standards
  • Emptying litter bins, and removing waste to designated areas
  • Cleaning of toilets and washrooms to the required standard where allocated
  • Sweeping and mopping of dining areas, and school halls
  • Using powered equipment where necessary (scrubbing machines, wet pick-up machines, vacuum cleaners)
  • Cleaning of working surfaces and other furniture as directed
  • Clearing up after flooding and/or any other emergency cleaning
  • Effective and efficient on-site liaison with Cleaner in Charge/Site Manager to provide excellent standards of customer care, The Trust is a Pathfinder for the Framework for Ethical Leadership in Education and expects all leaders to embody these values in their daily work.
  • All posts are subject to safeguarding responsibilities (relevant to the role), including the duty to protect and promote the welfare of children and young people, and to adhere to the Trust's safeguarding policies and procedures.
