Working independently, you will provide an efficient cleaning service throughout designated internal communal areas ensuring Health and Safety and group policy and procedures are adhered to. We may ask you to support the external areas team when required. You will have a key role in ensuring you have a good awareness of Health and Safety of those around you including an awareness of testing of fire alarms and supporting our Management Team. Our primary aim is to ensure our communities and working environments are maintained to the highest standard therefore, we will ask you to top up stock supplies, litter pick outside areas, be competent in keeping automatic door closers topped up with batteries and report problems to our Team as routine. We do our best to develop our employees and therefore we may need you to undertake training when requested., We follow robust safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring all employees, volunteers, and contractors uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and accountability. To be considered for this role you should have a strong cleaning background with a good working knowledge of estate management issues. As you will work independently, we need you to have strong organisation skills and the ability to plan your workload. To keep you and the rest of our employees, customers and other visitors safe we need you to have knowledge of COSHH regulations relating to the safe use of chemicals in the public domain.
