The Regeneration and Community Services Directorate are looking to recruit two Cleaning Operatives, to maintain cleaning standards in any identified areas.

The successful candidates will clean any designated area to a set standard by use of chemicals, equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will also maintain their cupboard, equipment and machinery by cleaning and ensuring correct storage after use. You will also place orders when replacement chemicals and equipment is required.

The successful candidates should be able to work as part of a team, have the ability to use their own initiative and be willing to undertake any training considered necessary for the position., COSHH and basic Health and Safety plus experience is desirable.

Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The post holder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.

Grade 3 (£24,404 - £25,183 per annum, pro rata) - The grade for this post is temporary pending a service review in 2025 - 15 hours per week, 41 weeks per year
