Full Job Description

As a Cleaning and Waste Supervisor based in RAF Brize Norton, Carterton. You will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality cleaning and waste management services. You'll oversee operational performance, lead a motivated team, and manage third-party contracts, all while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and client satisfaction.   • Oversee all cleaning and waste management operations in line with contract requirements and Sodexo service standards.
  • Lead, direct and support your team to consistently deliver high standards and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, including regular audits and safety walks.
  • Maintain strong financial oversight - monitoring budgets, managing costs, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong client and customer relationships through regular engagement and exceptional service delivery.
  • Contribute to business planning, performance reviews and strategic development initiatives.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of your team, promoting a culture of engagement and high performance.
  • Maintain professional standards in documentation, reporting, and day-to-day operations.

    + Experience in a management role within soft FM services.
  • + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. + Sound knowledge of health & safety and food safety regulations. + Confident with IT systems including Microsoft Office. + Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
  • Desirable:
  • + Previous experience in a military or highly regulated environment. + IOSH Managing Safely or similar health & safety qualification. + Technical knowledge across soft FM areas including catering, cleaning, and hospitality. + Demonstrated success in client relationship management within a contract environment.
