An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Client Care Advisor to join our team at Newcastle Vets for Pets., We are looking for a caring, motivated and organised individual who is interested in joining our client care team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and deal with appointment bookings in a professional and efficient manner using the in-practice database system.
  • Receive clients and their animals for appointments, being sensitive to their needs and promoting a professional image at all times.
  • Manage and deal with practice communications, including telephone calls, emails and other digital platforms.
  • Support with various administration tasks including marketing, health plan management, receipting of stock, client enquiries, document storage and retention and social media.
  • Work with the client care team to ensure that the reception and non-clinical areas of the practice are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and are presentable at all times.
  • Comply with Health & Safety Regulations and all practice policies and procedures.
  • This is a Part Time Role working 31.5 hours per week including every Saturday (9am - 12pm) - There is no out of hours or Sunday work, and we close most bank holidays which means you'll never have to work Christmas Day!

    We are ideally looking for someone with customer service and administration experience, including excellent computer skills and telephone manner. Experience in a clinical or veterinary environment is advantageous but not essential as you will be fully trained on the knowledge required for the role.

    We are an established yet growing first opinion small animal practice located in the Benton area just outside of Newcastle city centre. We are ideally located with excellent bus and metro transport links and plenty of on-site parking. Our spacious practice is well equipped with on-site theatre, digital Xray, ultrasound machine, dental Xray, in-house laboratory, pharmacy, separate dog and cat wards, four consult rooms and a large, dedicated colleague room.
