We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Client Director to lead both the Paramount+ and Hill's teams. This is a unique opportunity to work across two high-profile clients with distinct needs-Paramount+ in the entertainment sector and Hill's Pet Nutrition in the FMCG space. The role is based in the UK and offers significant growth potential. You will collaborate with hybrid global teams (London, New York, LA) to deliver strategic solutions for Paramount+, while also partnering with Hill's EMEA regional teams to drive digital transformation goals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about entertainment, FMCG and innovation, possess strong leadership skills, and have the expertise to manage complex client relationships. The Client Director will need to be comfortable working within a matrix organization, working directly into the Global/EMEA Client Lead whilst also leading a Client Manager and keeping closely connected with local markets. Core Responsibilities Client Leadership & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders across Paramount+ and Hill's, including line management within client leadership
  • Build deep relationships with senior clients to achieve client satisfaction scores (across Vantage and Aprais) >8 for satisfaction and recommendation.
  • Collaborate with market leads across territories to ensure seamless campaign execution, market best practices, scope deliverables as well as overseeing central deliverables inc. measurement and analytics, global campaign strategy and content projects
  • Paramount+ Focus
  • Lead on driving global alignment across our territories - includes but is not limited to
  • Supporting Digital Lead on Global Brand Safety
  • Ensuring all Proprietary process agreements/endeavours are being adhered to (approval, value, plan highlights)
  • Ensuring all competitive deliverables are being met and ensuring quality oversight (supporting Insights team in trends development)
  • Responsible for ensuring learnings and cross market sharing is happening regularly and seamlessly
  • Oversee market reviews, competitive insights development, analytics workstreams, and post-campaign analysis (PCAs).
  • Responsible for the coordination and development of Global Guidelines - ensuring all specialists are contributing/clear on deliverables and overseeing best practices
  • Responsible for the content collation, feedback and presentation of Market Review meeting documents (alongside Lead and SNR Director)
  • Management of Analytics workstreams, senior support for local market best practice reporting, utilization of Adserver and onboarding of automated reporting solutions
  • Trading support for central trading partner. Supporting in the content development for monthly meetings and supporting lead in the progression of these projects
  • Responsible for the oversight of end of campaign reports and development/management of PCAs
  • Management of Manager and Exec. Support the development and well-being of your team
  • Hill's EMEA Focus
  • Partner with Hill's EMEA regional media team to support digital transformation goals.
  • Oversee global Colgate/Hill's process governance and ensure local markets are in alignment with global strategies.
  • Manage regional biddable team (in collaboration with 18 local markets) as well as seamless integration of offshore activation teams.
  • What does success look like:
  • Client Metrics: Vantage and Aprais Scores >8 (Client Satisfaction + Likelihood to Recommend)
  • Team/People Metrics: NPS Score 8+; CultureAmp 360 Feedback & Performance Review
  • Great work: Awards (internal shockwaves awards, provocative planning utilization, industry awards), Understand how data can be used to diagnose marketing effectiveness (MMM, attribution models, test and learns, etc.) and can partner to develop an outcomes framework and assess suitable solutions for measurement.
  • Can mobilize the enterprise. They are conversant in the full scope of Wavemaker, GroupM and WPP products/services and can connect them to clients' business challenges to drive profitable growth for the client and for Wavemaker.
  • Lead collectively, to deliver a seamless experience for clients and colleagues. They recognize the power of collaboration and know how to create the conditions for positive, productive collaboration. They foster this collaboration across diverse teams and individuals, ensuring that different voices and perspectives are heard and valued, and that ways of working with clients are respectful and mutually beneficial. Understand that conflict is part of collaboration and have a process to help work through conflict respectfully and productively, to create win-win outcomes. They are solutions-focused and can quickly and effectively create and execute a plan of action.
  • Understand the importance of building trusted relationships across the full client organization (vs just media/marketing). They can identify key client influencers across the organization and know the steps that they and their teams need to take to build mutual trust. Can decipher Vantage score feedback and adapt approach accordingly.
  • Communicate in a way that is highly persuasive, engaging and comprehensive (written and verbal communications). Understand the principles of ethical influence and can apply them in a variety of situations to deliver win-win outcomes.
  • Have a strong commercial mindset. They understand how to maximize the client's investment, how to derive profit from the client relationship, and how to utilize Wavemaker's resources effectively and efficiently (scoping, contracts, prioritization, resource management, delegation). They can apply the principles of negotiation to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Are operationally minded and able to help teams and clients optimize ways of working to ensure that the agency delivers with both strategic and tactical excellence. Can strategically prioritize, to help clients and teams focus efforts on highest priority areas, to balance client needs and people needs.
  • Are confident, dynamic and engaging presenters. They can flex their style from a formal presentation to a facilitated discussion, leading to a desired outcome.
  • Develop an informed point of view and are comfortable representing themselves and the agency on external platforms (such as social media, panel events, speaker events etc.)
  • Champion growth and development to help their people build thriving, varied careers across the organization.

    Will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, broadly and for the entertainment sector. They understand the drivers of business growth for the Streaming category and understand the potential implications of the macro-economic climate in which the client's business operates.
  • Take a systematic approach to problem-solving to gain new information and insights, which help team and clients co-develop lasting, strategic solutions. Ask provocative questions with a positive intent and employ active listening skills to ensure understanding.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of at least one functional area (e.g. planning, digital activation, data science etc.), plus a broad understanding of how various roles and disciplines operate and work together to form end to end media solutions. Are willing to continuously develop that knowledge to stay on top of media industry trends and the
  • related products and services offered by the Group.
  • Have sound foundational knowledge of the evolving media landscape, and the ability to apply that knowledge to understand and broadly assess the client's own marketing sophistication. Can draw in and direct deeper technical experts when needed and identify related opportunities and potential threats.
