Full Job Description
35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm but additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Our approach to hybrid working allows for up to 40% of time working from home and 60% working in the office, please contact a member of the recruitment team to discuss further., This position is responsible for working closely with the firm's General Counsel, Legal Ethics Committee, firm attorneys, and other levels of firm administration as well as other members of the Conflicts and Compliance Department in connection with the review and drafting of client engagement terms, outside counsel guidelines, and related documents.,
- Responsible for review of client engagement terms, and other documents/contracts as assigned, to facilitate approval from firm management including the firm's General Counsel and Legal Ethics Committee
- Assist manager and supervisor in serving as a key point of contact for client engagement terms and questions for Hogan Lovells attorneys and assistants as well as other business services departments
- Assist managers and conflicts analysts in the identification, resolution and clearance of conflicts of interest issues in connection with client engagement terms Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location or services. All members of the firm participate in our Responsible Business program.
- Law degree preferred
- At least two to three (2-3) years of legal experience preferred
- Previous experience reviewing and drafting contracts preferred
- 3E and Intapp experience a plus
- Conflicts analysis and resolution experience General Attributes
- Works well independently
- Good verbal and written communication
- Supportive of Firm's administrative processes and procedures; and department's processes and procedures
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate and solve procedural problems.
