There are opportunities to support across the broad spectrum of climate strategy delivery, however one officer will lead climate adaptation and resilience, focusing on climate risk assessment and working with strategic partners, particularly in the farm and natural environment sector. The second officer will lead our work in the area of new developments and planning. The officer will develop their specialism in net zero and resilient buildings. They will be responsible for engaging with developers, and responding to planning consultations, providing expert input relating to climate objectives, and will therefore need a good working knowledge of the planning system.
