Required to provide specialist paediatric advice to patients, carers and colleagues with regards to the diagnosis and treatment of complex paediatric conditions. This will include the provision of advice to paediatric staff in the care and treatment of patients. He/she will sit on the tier one (Junior doctor) rota initially, participating fully in this rota. Dependant on developing the necessary expertise, demonstrable through completion of agreed competencies, he/she will be expected to contribute to the tier two (middle grade) duties.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
