Clinical Education Fellow

Clinical Education Fellows are an essential and valued part of the Medical Education Team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. This role involves working 100% of your time within medical education. Help to deliver medical education in partnership with The University of Warwick Medical School, supporting our students on their accelerated 4-year course. You will be working within a modern education facility, which includes clinical skills rooms, seminar rooms, lecture theatre and a simulation suite. In addition, you will have the opportunity to complete a funded Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education programme at the University of Warwick. This is a fixed term appointment., Duties will include:

• Bedside teaching including sourcing and consenting patients
• Delivering interactive tutorials and case-based learning
• Running teaching clinics with volunteer patients
• Acting as faculty for accredited courses
• Supporting delivery of simulation opportunities
• Supporting teaching and assessing of procedural skills
• Taking part in student assessment and feedback delivery
