Full Job Description
Applications are invited for a number of Clinical Fellow posts for a fixed term of 12 months starting from 06 August 2025. These posts are for Clinical Fellows at ST1/2 equivalent in Medicine, with 25% non-clinical time in Education, Research, Leadership and Simulation.
The posts are at any inpatient medical specialty as offered by the Trust, with a general medicine commitment, with a rotation of 3 four-month placements, or 12 months in the same specialty:
Care of the Elderly, Acute Medicine, Endocrinology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Stroke, Infectious Diseases, Rehabilitation Medicine, Oncology/Haematology, Neurology
Applicants interested in a purely clinical role and also for less than 12 months would also be welcome, but preference is given to people who commit for a year., The Clinical Fellow posts are designed to help build CVs (in work time). Despite being non-training posts, the feedback has been that similar posts in other departments have been brilliant for training and career progression and most people go onto get training positions afterwards in their chosen specialty and region or have a well needed year out of training.
