Clinical Fellow (ST3 +) in Reproductive Medicine

This is one-year post with a possibility of extension for a second year depending on clinical and research assessment.

The post holder will be trained in all aspects of general fertility and assisted reproductive technology (ART).

Activities will include outpatient assessment, ultrasound scanning, monitoring of ART treatment (ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, IVF treatment, ICSI, ovum donation, surrogacy etc), transvaginal oocyte retrievals and tubal patency assessment; including hysterosalpingograms and Hycosys.

They will also be exposed to sperm retrieval techniques and trans-abdominal oocyte retrieval as well as reproductive surgery.

Barts Health NHS Trust are currently welcoming applications for a full time Clinical Fellow (ST3+) to join the Centre for Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, based at St Bartholomew's Hospital.

This appointment will initially be for 12 months on a fixed term basis which can be extended to two years.

The Fertility service at Barts Health is one of the largest NHS services and has excellent clinical results.

The Centre receives referrals for secondary and tertiary diagnosis and treatment, and offers a wide range of services, including all forms of male and female outpatient diagnostic assessment, assisted reproduction technologies including IUI, IVF, ICSI, sperm and ovum donation, surrogacy, a full range of sperm retrieval techniques, and male and female fertility preservation for acute and chronic conditions including oncological., Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, and one of Britain's leading healthcare providers.
