Full Job Description
As a Clinical Healthcare Support Worker you will be a core member of the team delivering personal care, both clinical and non-clinical, to patients. You'll also be key in supporting patients with their own self-care and independence.
You'll work under the guidance of a healthcare professional such as a nurse and your job will vary depending on the ward you are based. Your daily duties will be varied to include:
+ Delivering personal care such as helping patients get up, washed and dressed, taking patients to the toilet, helping at meal times
+ Contribute to patient assessments such as blood pressure monitoring, oxygen saturation levels, body temperature
+ Recording your actions accurately in patient notes.
Our hospital is a 24 hour service as our patients need care and attention around the clock, therefore we work on a shift basis and you are likely to be given early, late, twilight and night shifts, so everyone gets involved working different shifts to ensure our patients receive the very best care.
