Our Rehabilitation Wardsprovidesdischarge to assess, medical optimisation, sub-acute medical and rehabilitation care to older patients across the East of Berkshire. - Clinical -Work autonomously ensuring the delivery of safe,effectiveand evidenced based practiceand actively support colleagues within this field.
- Professional- development of own advanced nursing skills andspecialist knowledge providing mentorship of nursing staff in their skills acquisition.To act as a role model to all staff,demonstratinga high levelof patient care,clinicalleadershipandeffective interpersonal skills.
- Management - Working alongsidethe ward manager in ensuring patient flow,asafe environment,staffwell beingandto provide guidance and advice in both basic and complex issues surrounding patient and staff needs.
- Financial, Performance and Resource Management - Identifying any financial risk relating to providing services and developing partnerships with the Inpatient Services Manager and contributing to strategies in reducing risk associated with this.
- Service Development - Contribute to the development of the service ensuring mechanisms are in place to involve staff,stakeholdersand service users.
