Full Job Description

To take the lead in Plastic Surgery and Laser service nursing responsibilities, trust wide for a defined caseload of children and families incorporating a care co-ordination remit.

To lead the Plastic surgery and laser service nursing team and ensure the provision of a responsive, high quality Service

The post holder will provide expert advice to the organisation on related matters, ensuring BWC NHS Trust is at the forefront of national best practice.

To provide effective nursing leadership expertise advice trust wide and ensure the provision of effective nursing care to children and families.

To act as a role model and expert practitioner.

To have management responsibility for other CNS team members as appropriate.

To facilitate the development of all staff trust wide, in relation to Plastic surgery and laser service and associated nursing responsibilities.

To promote an innovative and progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research and evidenced based practice.
