Full Job Description

We are seeking a part time (0.8wte) Clinical Psychologist for a period of 12 months to provide psychological input to Paediatric Oncology and Haematology and the General Paediatrics services within Southampton Children's Hospital., This role will include providing assessments and therapy to children and their families who are currently receiving inpatient and outpatient treatment for cancer and leukaemia, as well as supporting those who have finished their treatment and are receiving follow up care. You will work alongside other psychologists and the wider psychosocial team to provide psychological advice support and consultation, working directly with children and families and indirectly with staff in the hospital and across our network. Clinical Psychology is highly valued by the multidisciplinary team. Within the General Paediatrics service your role will include offering in- and outpatient assessments and interventions, as well we providing advice and consultation to the wider team and liaison with other local services.
