Full Job Description
There is an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Community Paediatric Therapies Service. The post holder will provide specialist Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to children aged 0-19 years in a wide range of settings within the community. We are a friendly, dynamic and supportive team who all work together to provide the best possible outcomes for the children, young people and their families. There will be the opportunity to develop more advanced clinical, leadership and service development skills. The post is based at West Acklam Centre but there is also the requirement for independent travel around community settings within the Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland region. It involves working within the wider integrated Paediatric Therapies Service which includes the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams covering the acute services at The James Cook University Hospital., To provide assessment and interventions to children/young people aged 0-19 years old with a variety of conditions, including complex needs who are resident within the South Tees region., The leadership and improvement programme aims to:
- Explore leadership within the NHS
- Promote Trust values and behaviours
- Develop your leadership effectiveness and skills
- Equip staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to lead and complete service improvements within the scope of your role. We also offer a range of additional in-house and externally provided courses and bitesize programmes through our Leadership and Improvement Team.
Significant postgraduate experience working within Paediatric Physiotherapy and enthusiasm for working with a wide range of children/young people up to the age of 19 is essential.
