Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Paediatric Unit at The James Cook University Hospital to employ a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level The role within CYPED is to support the nursing team in providing direct patient care to children and young people., We are a team committed to delivering and maintaining high quality patient care and are looking to attract a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level who shares our goal. In return we will support ongoing professional development and provide regular training opportunities.

  • Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 (GCSE A-C/4-9)
  • Care certificate
  • Level 3 vocational qualificationor Short courses and completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care dutiesand/or Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3;- Theoretical knowledge- Experience of a range of care and related procedures- clinical observations- knowledge of relevant legislation, Experience in health care is preferred, with experience working with children and young people desirable. Applicants must demonstrate effective communication skills, be enthusiastic, well motivated and share a commitment to team working.
