• Provide expert pharmaceutical guidance: Deliver complex, evidence-based medication information to clinical staff, ensuring clear communication, documentation and sound clinical reasoning.
• Support systemic anti-cancer (SACT) services: Assist in developing and maintaining chemotherapy services in compliance with national standards and legislative requirements, addressing operational challenges and ensuring seamless service.
• Patient education and care: Educate patients on medication use, manage sensitive discussions as a non-medical prescriber, and coordinate with GPs and primary care professionals for integrated patient care.
• Collaborate with clinical teams: Build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of clinical staff and outreach chemotherapy teams to support effective medicine management and service delivery
• Pharmacy Clinical Trial - Offer specialist pharmacist support in the setup and delivery of commercial and non-commercial clinical trials. Collaborate with Principal Investigators and the Research, Development, and Innovation team to ensure the provision of novel therapies through clinical trials, advancing patient care and treatment options.
