Full Job Description
The role is for a Collaboration Coordinator in the London office. The successful candidate will facilitate the continued collaboration between Huawei and research institutes in UK and EU, with an emphasis on potential collaborations across the UK and EU. The successful candidate will be responsible for exploring cutting-edge technology research to recommend high-value opportunities. In addition, the individual will build collaboration resource maps for different technology fields in order to match the collaboration requirements from different Business Departments. One of the key responsibilities will be providing an in-depth technical insight of academic strength in basic technologies, electronic technologies, and especially computing technologies. The successful candidate will be the contact point in order to develop a strong co-working environment with the university partners to build upon and maintain a long-term partnership., 1. Maintain and strengthen the long-term partnership with local universities:
+ The main responsibilities include (but not limited to): provide support to project managers, scoping technology collaborations and other events, and other routine administration relating to industry - academia liaison.
+ Manage and operate the Innovation and Communication Platform funded by Huawei. The collaboration fields cover basic technologies, electronic technologies, and computing technologies.
2. Explore the cutting-edge technology research, identifying and suggesting high-value opportunities to senior managers. Build and maintain collaboration resource maps for the different technology fields to match all the requirements from different Business Departments.
3. Provide an in-depth technical insight of UK's academic strengths within basic technologies, electronic technologies, and computing technologies. Facilitate the creation of new technology collaboration opportunities.
4. Act as the Collaboration representative of London Research Centre. Discover the cutting-edge technologies and potential opportunities for technology collaborations across the UK and EU, particularly in AI industry.

1. Comprehensive academic background in Computer Science or relevant subjects.
2. Experience in Research Project Management and/or Academia-Industrial Collaborations.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of computing technologies and either basic technologies or electronic technologies.
4. A good understanding of the UK research ecosystem.
5. Self-motivated, well organized and a good team player.
6. Good verbal and written communication skills.
7. Be able to travel to Europe and worldwide.
8. Mandarin speaking strongly preferred.
9. Have the Right to Work in the UK without requirement for work sponsorship.
