Full Job Description

Our Commercial Director is to strategically outline and execute commercial targets for Sage for Small Business for UKI/Canada and Sage Active France, Germany & Spain leading to the achievement of strategic objectives to drive sustained business growth. This pivotal role involves leading initiatives to acquire new customers while ensuring optimal management of the existing customer base. As an experienced authority in commercial operations, you will be responsible for intricately linking transactional forecasts to financial projections, comprehensively understanding key revenue drivers and their monthly fluctuations. You will be accountable for the development and execution of commercial management strategies including promotional and pricing plans that help to underpin the cloud native small GTM strategy across various markets. There will be significant stakeholder management, decision-making & influencing responsibility that goes with this role. The leader will demonstrate strong, inspirational leadership to build and run a best in-class commercial management team to deliver., You will develop a clear vision and robust strategy for the segment, driving impactful commercial strategies and overseeing smooth launches and go-to-market plans. Focus on achieving unparalleled SaaS growth through data-driven approaches and customer insights, optimizing experiences and maximizing returns. Manage a commercial and product reporting backlog, while nurturing a high-performing team aligned with business growth. Inspire teams to drive new customer acquisition and retention for strong commercial growth. Collaborate with the Small Segment product/PMM team to identify opportunities and optimize business models, pricing strategies, and budgets. Lead pricing and business planning efforts, testing and implementing new strategies. Manage rolling forecasts to ensure growth targets are met.

  • Energetic Business leader with experience of leading commercial business transformation agendas
  • Proven track record of delivering change, building teams and delivering high quality commercial management support to internal partners
  • Extensive experience of commercial management
  • Commercial management experience of Cloud Native solutions
  • Marketing and Sales experience in the digital age including ecommerce and mobile
