Your ideas and contributions will be valued and encouraged., As a Commercial Litigation Solicitor at Blackstone Solicitors, you will play a key role in managing and resolving a variety of commercial disputes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging and high-value cases while developing your expertise in a supportive and high-performing team., Handling a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, shareholder disputes, and debt recovery.
- Advising clients on litigation strategy and risk management, providing clear and commercially sound legal advice.
- Drafting legal documents, pleadings, witness statements, and preparing cases for trial.
- Engaging in dispute resolution methods, including mediation, arbitration, and negotiation.
- Conducting advocacy where appropriate and representing clients in court proceedings.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and expanding the firm's commercial litigation practice.
- Enthusiastic about maintaining high standards of client care.
- Highly organised and efficient.
- Must be a strong tactical lawyer with excellent commercial skills.
- Aggressive approach to litigation where appropriate and this personality trait is a pre-requisite for the successful candidate.
- Diligent with exceptional attention to detail.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Identify legal risks and advise clients on risk mitigation strategies, ensuring that all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Work closely with other teams in the firm, including real estate, corporate, and finance departments, to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery and effective communication, ensuring long-term client retention.
- Adhering to the SLA terms within the provided time frame.
- Handling multiple transactions simultaneously, ensuring that each is completed within the set deadline date in a professional manner.
- Ability to manage and prioritise high volume caseload in a fast paced environment.
- Prioritising urgent matters effectively while maintaining attention to details across all tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of multiple ongoing cases.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate: - A minimum of 5+ years PQE in commercial litigation.
- Strong technical expertise in commercial dispute resolution, with a solid understanding of litigation procedures and relevant legislation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative legal strategies.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple cases effectively, with great attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- A proactive approach to networking and business development.
