Commercial Manager

FM Conway is currently recruiting for a dynamic and strategic Commercial Manager to lead our talented commercial teams and drive success across our long-term London-based contracts. This is a excellent opportunity to shape the future of our high-profile projects, working with a dedicated team of Quantity Surveyors and Estimators while collaborating with FM Conway's various divisions to deliver world-class service to our clients. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Central London.

The duties of the Commercial Manager role will include:

- Leading forecasting, monitoring, and re-forecasting efforts to ensure resources meet project demands, keeping everything on track

- Overseeing the management and administration of projects, ensuring they exceed business and contract standards

- Providing support to the Divisional Director and Finance Business Partner with performance reports, including comparative and trend analysis, helping drive continuous improvement

- Offering commercial and contractual advice from the bid stages all the way through to post-completion, making a real impact

- Crafting smart, effective dispute resolution strategies with our Head of Commercial when needed

- Reviewing contract conditions, ensuring compliance, and negotiating amendments where necessary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with strong knowledge of NEC contracts and a proven track record in managing commercial teams, particularly on highways and Street Lighting projects. Travel to other company locations will be required therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.
