Commercial Paralegal

BTMK Solicitors Ltd are looking to recruit a Paralegal in our commercial department. The position is based in our Barringtons office and is a permanent full-time position. Experience in the legal field is not necessary, the successful candidate will be enthusiastic and keen to learn.

The successful candidate will have completed a law degree. This role will be an excellent opportunity to start your career in law. You will be supported and fully trained to enable you to grow in this role and support an experienced commercial team. In due course you may have an opportunity to apply for a Training Contract.

Please find below a description of some general duties, the list is not exhaustive but is meant to describe the regular work you will be required to conduct.

• Speaking and liaising with clients and third parties


• Drafting and making changes to correspondence and documents and assisting with correspondence generally


• Opening files and ensuring they are kept updated


• Arranging appointments


• Organising case files


• To adopt a business-like, polite and sensible approach in your telephone and written dealings with clients, other Solicitors and third parties;


• To adhere to the client care standards set out in the Company's terms of business and/or the office manual.


• Ad Hoc duties generated from the above
