Full Job Description
An opportunity has presented to join our award winning team. The position is for a senior associate in our commercial property department, based at our Whiteladies Road office in Clifton, Bristol. The successful candidate will come in to an existing caseload working alongside our specialist commercial team. This role will involve advising clients on commercial property matters ranging from the acquisition and disposal of land and buildings, Landlord and Tenant lease transactions and providing commercial property support to corporate transactions. The role will be supervised at director and senior solicitor level, working with associate solicitors and paralegals.,
- advising on the purchase and sale of freehold and leasehold property;
- acting for Landlord or Tenant on the grant of a new lease;
- acting for Landlord or Tenant on an assignment of lease;
- acting for Landlord or Tenant on lease renewals;
- assisting with setting up lease schemes on development projects;
- assisting with overage and land options agreements;
- providing commercial property support to the corporate team on business and share sales and purchases; and
- providing commercial property support to the litigation team on property litigation matters. This role is opened as a full-time role but there is flexibility to explore a 3 or 4 day working week. The role is based at our Whiteladies Road office but there is scope to explore a mix of in office and remote working. Career development The ideal candidate should be open to developing their marketing and business development skillset with the support of the marketing team. The candidate will be involved with marketing strategies and initiatives to shape the department and develop sources of work.

The ideal candidate for this role should have in the region of 7 years qualified experience in commercial property law and looking to take on a new role to be part of the growth in the department and develop their business development tools.
