Full Job Description

Coleg Cambria is seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Commercial Sport and Leisure Assistant at our Deeside site. This hourly paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our commercial sports operations. As a Commercial Sport and Leisure Assistant, your main responsibilities will involve supporting the commercial activities and operations within our sports facilities at the Deeside site. You will assist in managing bookings, coordinating events, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our commercial clients and visitors. Your role will include providing excellent customer service, addressing enquiries, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally. You will also set up and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in optimal condition for commercial use. Monitoring commercial sports activities and enforcing facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe and welcoming environment will be essential. Additionally, you will contribute to the marketing and promotion of our commercial sports services, helping to attract and retain clients. Flexibility in working hours is required, as the role will involve evening and weekend work to support commercial events and activities., The promotion of the welsh language is an essential part of the work we do.   • Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above
  • Level 2 sports/athletics/fitness coaching qualification
  • Understanding and knowledge of other sporting disciplines
  • Experience of working within a sports/athletics environment
