Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Committee Services Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council., This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Legal and Democratic Services Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £30,559 - £33,366 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic committee services officer. The successful applicant will provide administrative support for the planning, organisation and minuting of Council meetings which are held multi-locationally in person at Penallta House and/or via remote attendance.

The role is central to ensuring that the Council observes its statutory obligations for the publication of reports and agendas for Council meetings, and accurately records discussions and decisions.

In addition, the post holder will provide a range of support services for elected members

A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of performing a similar role within local government or a similar environment.
The ability to attend meetings across the county borough as well as further afield., Disability Confident
