As a Communications Coordinator, you will work with all areas across the business to plan, review, edit and deliver their operational communications to our stores and centres. You will be a content writing expert who can build simple, clear and effective communications that represent the Tesco brand and be confident at working with multiple partners to advise them on our communications principles, branding and voice. You will be responsible for

  • Partner with different customers across the business to ensure we deliver simple, concise and high quality operational communications to our colleagues through the right channels
  • Build and deliver daily and weekly publications to store and centre management team
  • Build engaging communications for colleagues using various digital platforms
  • Build, edit and deliver communications plans for all projects landing in stores and centres, ensuring all impacts and audiences are considered
  • Review and update all reference material for stores on our existing Help site
  • Be the trusted guide, supporting partners to understand the right channel of communication and provide specialist expertise to support teams in delivering effective communications
  • Ensure our communications meet the agreed branding, tone of voice and expression
  • Meet tight deadlines to ensure reactive communications land at the right time
  • Have a journalistic approach to communications, ensuring you probe partners and ask the relevant questions to ensure the message has the required impact
  • Continually look for how store and centre communications can be simplified and evolve through internal knowledge sharing and standard process
  • Have a solid understanding of the business and keep up-to-date with current and future systems
  • Contribute to the team by covering each other's areas and take the initiative to support team activities
  • Follow our business code of conduct and always acting with integrity/due diligence
  • Consistently look for ways to improve your own performance and personal development through an active PDP, learning and giving/seeking feedback to continuously improve

    Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and digital design skills
