Full Job Description

Location: Various locations in the east of England within the Anglian Water framework. What you'll be doing: - Manage Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability aspects with responsibility for CDM compliance. - Focus on managing construction delivery while adopting an alliance view. - Drive a culture of zero accidents and zero defects to meet delivery milestones. Key responsibilities: - Team leadership: Lead and manage site construction teams to deliver projects within budget and time frame. - Project facilitation: Facilitate initial project construction meetings and lead health checks. - Supplier management: Oversee tier 2 suppliers' performance in Safety, Time, and Quality, including approving RAMS. - Quality assurance: Lead Constructability Reviews, Project Rehearsal, and Fit for Assembly sign-off. - Sustainability focus: Focus on zero waste and reducing embodied carbon in construction activities. - Contractual compliance: Ensure timely raising of contractual and
commercial notices. - Resource planning: Establish long-term and short-term resource needs with the Lead Construction Manager. - Health and safety: Ensure full H&S compliance and foster a safe working environment. - Innovation: Implement standard products and innovative techniques to maintain industry leadership.

Proven experience managing operational resources in a fast-paced environment. - HNC/Degree in Civil or Construction Management. - Experience with large structures in the Water industry. - Site Management Safety Training Scheme and Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme attendance. - CSCS Card (Black minimum). - Ability to inspire and lead a team, encouraging and supporting them to achieve critical tasks. - Can-do attitude and willingness to be hands-on. - Excellent communication skills and performance-driven. - Experience managing multiple stakeholder groups. - Willingness to travel to sites across the Anglian Water region.
