There will be scope for development of a specialty interest to suit the interests of the post-holder and the needs of the department.
The Trust supports the requirements for continuing professional development as laid down by the Royal College of Physicians. All consultants have a study leave allocation and a financial allocation to support attendance at course and conferences.
