Consultant - Endocrinology and Diabetes

Candidates will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Participate in regular departmental audit and help with/develop a research program. Work towards models of integrated care with primary health care providers. Participation in the General Medical on-call service.
Contribute to the ongoing service developments to meet the changing demands on the speciality. In general, it is anticipated that the consultant will provide medical leadership and professional accountability for the patients on under his/her care Work within the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective team working in the provision of acute care to patients.
