Full Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled, compassionate, experienced consultant clinical psychologist to join us in Pennine Care NHS foundation trust CAMHS.

We are committed to staff development and have an extensive psychological therapies training programme, To lead the design and delivery of evidence-based care pathways and psychological interventions for a range of childhood emotional health and well-being issues across the local system. To support whole system transformation and lead programmes of change that ensure that the principles of "Future in Mind" and iThrive recommendations are delivered within the locality. Ensure the systematic provision of high-quality clinical psychology and psychological interventions in the multidisciplinary team for the child and family population of the locality, across all sectors of care.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service Embed a local culture of early intervention and develop the recovery and self-management agenda within all, As the Consultant Lead Clinical Psychologist the post holder would provide clinical leadership for the Clinical Psychologists, Psychological Therapists and practitioners delivering psychological interventions in the locality CAMHS. These other posts would include generic psychology posts and specialist psychological posts working with Looked After Children, Autism and Learning Disability and therapists' posts across a range of modalities. Across Pennine Care there has been recent publication of Psychological Therapies plan for working age and older adults and a Psychological Therapies plan for children and young people is being developed.
Key Result Areas
Clinical:
1. The ensure the development and delivery of whole system evidence-based care pathways that have a strong emphasis on recovery, self-management, capacity building and placing expertise at points where CYP can easily access.
2. To provide highly developed specialist psychological assessments of clients referred to the multidisciplinary team, based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data form a variety of sources including systematic clinical psychometric procedures, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client's care.

The hiring manager will make contact with you to verbally offer you the position. The hiring manager will then inform Recruitment of the decision and provide relevant paperwork. You will be sent a formal conditional offer via email.
What pre-employment checks will I need to complete?
By conducting pre-employment checks, the recruitment team will verify that you meet the pre-conditions of the role you have been offered. Pre-employment checks will be carried out according to NHS Employment Check Standards. The checks are:
+ Identity verification
+ Right to work check
+ Disclosure and barring service (DBS)/Criminal record check (dependent on role)
+ Professional registration and/or qualification check
+ Occupational health assessment
+ Employment history and reference validation
All applicants external to NHS will be required to provide HMRC employment history to cover the most recent three years. This information will used to validate employment history and references as part of pre-employment checks.

If the role you have been offer is not eligible for sponsorship, and you are not able to evidence your right to work, your conditional offer could be withdrawn.
What happens when pre-employment checks are complete?
Recruitment will liaise with you and the hiring manager to arrange a start date for your new position. You will then be booked on to a Trust Welcome Session and be sent your Pennine Care NHS Terms and Conditions.
