Full Job Description

There is an exciting opportunity within the North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) for a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Community Services in Enfield. The role offered is that of a Consultant in The Enfield North Locality Team covering one of the Community General Adult Teams in the London Borough of Enfield. Part-time applicants are also welcome. This post is awaiting approval by the Royal College of Psychiatrist - submitted for approval on 05.12.2024.
Interviews will be scheduled within 3-4 weeks of the advert closing., This post offers 10 Programmed Activities per week - 7.5 PAs for direct clinical care (DCC) and up to 2.5 PAs for supporting professional activity (SPA). The post holder will be required to provide clinical and professional leadership and to take part in related management activities. As a senior clinician, the post holder will have an integral role in the performance of the team, further development of the service, and the development of clinical pathways and priorities.

This is the post of Consultant Psychiatrist within the Enfield North Locality Team within the North London NHS Foundation Trust. The North Locality Team is one of two Core Community Mental Health Teams (North and South) that together would cover the borough of Enfield. There are sister teams in the other boroughs of the trust covered by other consultant colleagues.
