Pay Rate: £30,000 - £32,908 Grade: RCS M Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday flexible hours between 8am and 5pm Location: Worksop - S80 3FY DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Continuous Improvement and Training Manager to play a vital role coordinating our site training schedules and continuous improvement initiatives. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Arranging and coordinating the sites internal and external training courses including SSOWS, MHE, first aid and other DHL training such as CSCS , managing the training matrix and all training documents/records both electronic and hard copies
- Manage and administer the training reporting process, generating reports and updates for the site management team and heads of departments
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify performance gaps and work with site managers to implement appropriate training programmes
- To support site with maintaining the Operating Management System First Choice Standards and achieving the KPI's
- Using DHL's First Choice Tools to improve safety, quality and efficiency while supporting the Warehouse Management team in their performance reviews and 1 to 1's
- Managing a team of 5 direct reports, monitoring performance and actioning HR Management tasks such as performance reviews, 1 to 1's and absence management WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Previous experience within a similar training role is advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management experience - liasing with internal teams and recruitment agencies
- Ability to influence other managers
- Excellent IT Literacy - including Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management systems. JDA experience is desirable
