Full Job Description

We're looking for a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprentice to help drive meaningful change as we work towards B Corp certification in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while studying for a Level 4 apprenticeship and contributing to real sustainability projects.
Why This Role Matters
Partou is one of the UK's largest childcare providers, and we are committed to embedding sustainability and social responsibility across everything we do. In 2023, our Dutch team achieved B Corp certification, and now it's time to bring this commitment to our UK nurseries. As an apprentice, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering sustainability initiatives, making a real impact on how we operate.
What You'll Do
- Support sustainability and corporate responsibility projects that create lasting change.
- Work with internal teams, external partners, and local communities to champion responsible business practices.
- Help develop and track sustainability strategies to ensure we meet our goals.
- Collect and analyse data to drive informed decision-making.
- Organise and promote sustainability events and campaigns to get more people involved.
- Support training sessions and awareness initiatives to embed sustainability across our teams.
- Use digital tools to improve sustainability reporting and project management.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means helping to create meaningful sustainability initiatives that align with our business goals. You'll contribute to key projects, support our B Corp journey, and ensure that sustainability is part of everyday life at Partou. By analysing data, raising awareness, and working with different teams, you'll help drive measurable improvements in how we operate responsibly.

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- A real passion for sustainability, corporate responsibility, and positive change.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in working with different teams.
- Great organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach, ready to get involved and make a difference.
- Comfortable using IT and working with data.
