Full Job Description
As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will report to the Cost Manager or Project Controls Manager and be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control for allocated package of work including budgets, commitments, VOWD, accrual generation and forecasts for labour, sub-contract and procurement costs as required. You will be required to present and explain the cost data to both the Client and Worley stakeholders. You'll be:
- Required to produce accurate cost reports as per contractual and Worley requirements
- Responsible for managing all aspects of cost control for allocated package of work including; budgets, commitments, VOWD, accrual generation and forecasts for labour, sub-contract and procurement costs
- Able to perform detailed variance analysis on all aspects of the cost data and be able to communicate and explain monthly movements
- Comfortable communicating cost data with Client and Worley stakeholders
- Providing input to and reviewing Project Controls procedures such as Project Controls Plan, Cost Management procedure, change management procedure invoicing procedure, ensuring compliance with all Contractual and Worley requirements
- Preparing and presenting Client cost reports with phased monthly forecasts
- Preparing and presenting monthly internal cost reporting to Worley management
- Responsible for Project close-out and benchmarking
- Required to promote good working relationships within the Project Controls Teams and other project departments and client representatives.
- Required to show commitment to and promote Worley values and ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures You'll have:
- Significant cost control experience.
- Previous EPCM cost experience
- Extensive knowledge of cost control/reporting techniques & methods
