Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsel to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional law, including experience with commercial contracts, regulatory matters, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This role will play a critical part in advising our business on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, ensuring the highest level of integrity and compliance.,

  • Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
  • Work closely with the business teams to understand and support their needs, providing strategic legal input on transactions.
  • Manage external counsel and oversee the legal aspects of transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, advising on corporate governance matters.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the legal department's processes and policies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide legal strategies to promote and protect the company's interests.

    Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • At least 7 years of transactional legal experience, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting, with a strong focus on transactions and commercial contracts., Demonstrated ability to independently manage a diverse and complex workload while maintaining priorities and proactively anticipating issues.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal issues and risks to non-legal colleagues.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal and ethical conduct.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
  • Familiarity with international transactions and global regulatory environments.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
