You will cover a variety of classes, subjects and year groups across the school whilst managing the behaviour of students in the classroom in accordance with school policy. You will be solely leading the class although cover work will be provided by the teacher. What we are looking for:

• Someone with a confident understanding of working with young people and some understanding of the principle of child development and learning processes
• An individual with strong classroom management
• A person with experience of working with secondary school students
• An individual with effective communication skills both written and oral
• Someone with an understanding of school behaviour, attendance and equal opportunities
• An outgoing personality as well as being someone who enjoys working with young people

Full-time figures are £28,163pa - £30,060pa + £1013pa and the actual pro-rata salary range is £24,087pa - £25,710pa + £866pa.
