Full Job Description

  • Act as first point of contact for existing cruise line clients for all UK matters including, but not limited to:
    • + Managing the itinerary planning and port booking process + Providing up-to-date guidance on current UK regulations + Coordinating PDAs from local offices and partner agents + Requesting, tracking and following up on pre-funding from principals as required + Coordinating FDAs from local offices and partner agents, acting as a sanity check on costs and challenging unexpected or unsupported charges
  • Build and maintain a master schedule and planning sheet for cruise bookings, capturing key information such as berths assigned, tidal windows and towage requirements for each call,
  • Routinely travel to visit vessels across the UK when they are in port to build relationships

    A good working knowledge of cruise ship port operations and general port agency
  • Experience of working for a cruise line or onboard a cruise ship in an operations role.
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role in the shipping / maritime industry
  • Have worked in a corporate / office environment, preferably with experience being rostered on-call with a duty phone
  • Comfortable dealing with different nationalities/cultures and levels of authority
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet strict timelines
  • Must have full UK Drivers License
