OVERVIEW

· The CTO Global Recharges and Recoveries role supports the CTO Head of Commercial Operations (Jonathan King) reporting recharges and recoveries across the Technology and Finance Organisation.

· The role has a global remit and the role holder is a key member of the CTO Commercial Operations team who will be based in the UK.

· The role will lead and drive the monthly agenda for the CTO Stakeholder meetings discussing targets and impacts to the full year GBGF position compared to the Technology Supplier Charges Target.

· The candidate will play an advisory role in providing strategies to optimize the On-Premise cost base providing guidance to the various stakeholders.

· The candidate will lead the annual rates process and true-up rates on a quarterly cycle ensuring full recovery of the CTO net operating expense by country and legal entity as well as providing insights into costs and volumes. This role requires a full understanding of the CTO cost base, which include CTO direct costs, indirect charges from Corporate Services, Cost of Funds and HTC Margin.

· Lead conversations with Technology CFO and Technology Charges and Intercompany controller to understand and communicate CTO rates, drive Stakeholder communications to ServCo entities to explain and remediate any over or under recoveries.

· Lead the annual CTO overhead process providing a plan with full justification to the Technology Exco. This will require a detailed understanding of the overheads process and the differing treatment of RTB and CTB when discussing overheads. Implementation of an automated process to ensure overheads are fully recovered and auditable.

The candidate will be required to build strong and effective relationships across a complex senior stakeholder

Tracking CTO rates, supporting discussions with ServCo entities and any under/over recoveries

Stakeholder management across CTO, Technology and Finance so all relevant parties are aware of recovery position and the plan to address any residuals

Rate and Recoveries Management and Reporting to CTO Global Finance Manager.

Assurance that the full cost is reflected in recoveries and the right clients are impacted.

Assurance the Supplier Charges target is in line with the CTO net operating expense.

Process Improvement in an agile environment.

· Must be Accountancy Certified ideally CIMA but would accept ACA

· Advanced Excel, data, Power Point skills

· Must have experience of cost allocation systems ideally Apptio but other relevant systems would be considered

· Strong stakeholder management / Relationship Management

· Extensive experience in a large Global organisation preferably Financial Services in an IT department or Operational services

· Proficient in financial management and reporting
