As the Curriculum Lead for Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality, innovative curriculum that meets the needs of apprentices and their employers. This role involves working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is engaging, well-developed, and aligned with relevant standards and priorities. Scope and Purpose The Curriculum Lead will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience and outcomes for apprentices. You will foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Apprenticeship provision. This role requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability, as well as a passion for seeking out opportunities to strengthen existing provision.,
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the curriculum for higher and degree apprenticeships
- Ensure alignment with local, regional, and national priorities, funding rules, and statutory requirements
- Develop innovative teaching and learning strategies to enhance learner engagement and success
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of delivery and support staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant funding rules, policies, and procedures
- Prepare and submit accurate reports and documentation as required
- Manage the budget and resources allocated to the curriculum area
- Identify and secure additional opportunities to support curriculum growth
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of learners
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure high standards and continuous improvement
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and teaching, learning, and assessment

We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant subject, Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths, and a Level 5 or equivalent teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one). You should have a proven track record of building productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, experience in developing curriculum plans, managing a team, and handling budgetary and physical resources. Additionally, you should possess excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and have an understanding of quality assurance processes. Personal qualities such as energy, drive, flexibility, and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion are essential.
