Join the Close Brothers Industrial Equipment Division (IED) where you will provide an efficient and effective service to our customers and sales teams, understanding their needs and working to exceed those wherever possible. The day to day includes supporting the businesses within IED (Construction & Recycling, Manufacturing, Agriculture & Finance for Industry) with processing documentation for financial agreements, facilitating pay-outs and managing the 'in-life' journey of our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Sales and our customers to ensure a smooth the onboarding and agreement set up processes while focussing on getting things done right first time.
  • Process new proposals, including checks on anti-money laundering, credit searching, linking exposures and loading and checking assets
  • Check and collate documentation and associated paperwork in a timely manner ensuring that we are in full compliance with current legislation and credit approvals.
  • Preparing accurate payments to suppliers, brokers and customers
  • Accurately upload all financial agreements to the platforms (using Salesforce & Alfa) with a full understanding of how each agreement and product works
  • ssue welcome packs to all new customers within agreed timescales and include all relevant documentation
  • Process all deposits and initial payments on ALFA system
  • Support the Sales team by speaking to Customers and internal stakeholders to progress with new business transaction
  • Receive and respond to enquiries by email or telephone, addressing these effectively and in a timely manner
  • Address customer complaints in accordance to policy

    The Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven experience of working proactively and taking initiative
  • Numerate with analytical ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills, quick to develop and maintain strong relationship both internally and externally
  • Experience of providing excellent Customer support
  • IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ARE:
  • Previous knowledge and experience of the Asset Finance industry
  • Confident using Microsoft Products
  • Knowledgeable or have experience of the Financial Services Industry and in similar operational or customer facing roles
