Delivery Manager

As a Digital Delivery Manager at The Gym Group, you'll partner with the Product Manager to define a clear strategy and roadmap for our Mobile App, delivering key outcomes for both the business and our members. You'll lead a team of digital specialists, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals. This role involves working closely with development teams (near-shore and off-shore), addressing technical challenges, and ensuring app architecture supports long-term growth, security, and performance. You'll champion Agile practices, remove delivery obstacles, and foster an empowered, self-organising team culture.

• Delivery Leadership: A proven track record of technical delivery management and Agile delivery leadership.
• Agile Expertise: Skilled Agile practitioner with a proven ability to lead international teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Project Management: Strong planning, coordination, and reporting skills to ensure transparency and delivery success.
• Technical Understanding: Knowledge of app architecture, APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud infrastructure to assess feasibility and advise on challenges.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product, delivery, and external partners.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive and creative approach to resolving project challenges.
Desirable Skills
• Familiarity with managing near-shore and off-shore development teams (e.g., iOS, Android, Backend).
• Experience with ensuring performance, stability, and security in digital products.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for app development and system integration.
• Experience in launching digital products, leading both business and technical delivery efforts.
