JOB MISSION: The Demand Planner will work as part of a dedicated team designated to handle and support with all aspects of the Sales and Operational monthly processes for different category. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate demand and purchase plan, through the forecasting process and ensure the agreed plan is available in key systems. We're looking for a someone with a strong analytical skills who enjoy working with multiple departments. Based in our EMEA head office in Warrington this is a 12-month FTC position. We offer hybrid working and a flexibility to working hours to accommodate for a healthy work life balance. Ideal candidates will be in the office 2 days per week. Regular travel will be involved within this role, applicants must have a full driving licence. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop long term category level plans
  • Develop rolling 3 year category/model sales plan (units, gross/net revenue)
  • Analyse plan versus OGSP targets, identify gaps and issues
  • Develop 18-month sales forecast by style considering market data, Sales input and ensure production and inventory targets are met
  • Develop ad hoc long term project forecasts as required
  • Track and report forecast movements versus plan/target
  • Improve ongoing forecasting accuracy
  • Ensure production requirements are met
  • Prompt bridge plans (forecast versus target)
  • Range review/drop decisions in season
  • Develop replenishment forecast/plan for agreed styles on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Control category and highlight any potential issues to the business
  • Identify excess inventory and ensure action plans are in place to liquidate
  • Manage subsidiary inventory levels to support agreed plans
  • Deliver pull forward target
  • Determine purchase quantities to satisfy expected customer demand
  • Work with Operations team to supervise critical projects/models and highlight risks to category plan to prompt mitigating actions
  • Handle variety of reports
  • Forecast analysis for category and/or EMEA business
  • REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
  • Previous experience with Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Sales Planning
  • Excellent analytical skills- proficient with using Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient with all Microsoft packages
  • Experience of handling large sets of data
  • High attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable of sales channels planning, the sales process, Demand Planning, purchasing programs, life cycle management and Supply Planning
  • Awareness of inventory planning
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on problem solving and deadline management
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Continuous improvement attitude
